Coaching Sources
Anyone know of some better coach sources a bit cheaper then the ones I find through training peaks. Been at this all now all winter season and just did a few races and seems no progress even though i am eating more healthy and all.
I really need some help in this. thanks desperate lol

Look with people with similar jerseys in your events and ask them. Or go to a bike shop close to you and ask them.

While you wait... books are cheap. Might be hard to sort through competing theories in some areas (e.g, nutrition), but you can gain insight which may be helpful when a coach does eventually start to give you advice.

Yes, books are wonderful!
Depending on what you want from a coach (motivation, accountability, workout structure, etc.), maybe you'd want to read The Cyclist's Training Bible. $20 and time well spent if you want to understand how workouts and yearly plans are scheduled! There's also a brand new version of The Time-Crunched Cyclist: Race-Winning Fitness in 6 Hours a Week released this week. I haven't read it, but it's a quick/cheap way to get started on a structured training plan. That might be what you've been missing.
If you do need a coach, ask the other racers if they have someone local. There are likely some local coaches who only advertise by word of mouth.
