Sorry, I did a medical library search on this at work. There's no evidence of a link between beets and gallstones.
However, a quick google search shows that beets are widely recognized as a beneficial "gallbladder cleanser" on all of the quackery nutrition and supplement sites ;-)

The Beetroot may be a causative factor because beet greens contain high levels of oxalates. My warning to others still stands.

Everyone's body chemistry is different. Supplements are a calculated risk just as cycling is. Without medication my BP is about 140/90. With Amlodipine it is 120/80. With Beetroot added it is about 112/60. I'm resuming the Beetroot because there are other factors in this not the least of which is the fact that I have a family history of gallstones. There is a possibility that the stones could end up in my kidneys but I'm taking that risk. The ultrasound displayed healthy kidneys so the risk is probably way low. Drink lots of water!

The worst thing that anybody can put in their body is fake meat products. Why eat something fake, when there is a real thing out there ??...Why put things which aren't even food, into your body ??

A food imitating another food is still food. Fake doesn't mean non-food. If you don't like soybeans, don't eat them, but they are food.
