Bicycling Science is now in the third edition published in 2004. The author is David Gordon Wilson. It contains much more material.

Thanks, I've added that to the list. I got the name mixed up with "Cycling Science" the mag by Chester Kyle. Both that and "Bike Tech" are out of print now, but the info's still pertinent and is more hardcore than the current stuff you find.
