What's wrong with sugar? Just empty calories that we cyclists can affort to burn off.What about honey? Splenda? Equal? Because a product is manufactured does not mean that it is somehow bad. After all, nutrition is really chemistry in nature rather than in the lab, but sodium cholride is salt whether it comes from the sea or from the combination sodium and cholrine in a test tube.
