Kreitler Alloy vs Challenger models

Anyone have any opions about the Alloy vs Challenger models of the Kreitler rollers.

I think the only differnece is the aluminum vs polycarbonate end caps.

What's the real difference that justifies such a large price difference.

I have the Alloy model, (Have not used the other you mentioned) but have used other brands of rollers. Their is no comparison in my book! The Kreitler Alloy is as smooth as silk! Some of the other brands seemed to howl and vibrate at the higher RPM'S... I wouldn't consider anything but Kreitler, recommending the alloy, but I'm sure the Challenger models work very well.

I agree that there is no equal to Kreitler Rollers. I use the Challenger model and they are just great. I could not justify the added expense to get the Alloy which functions exactly the same as the Challenger model. Both are equal in noise level (practically none) and smoothness is the same for each model. Both have the lifetime Kreitler guarantee so you will never have to worry.
