Limeade
Ok, I have to admit, one of my all time favorite drinks to take on my rides is lemon-lime Gatorade. I just love the stuff. I drink it often enough that it is cheapest to mix my own from the powder in a big can.
Well, I found another one I like. It mat not have as good of a performance effect, but it sure is good.
Welch's Limeade.
It comes in those little plastic tubs with the screw on lid that you use to measure the powder. I took a bottle full to work the other day when it was like 80F and I was sweatin' like a pig. I stopped half way across the Tacoma Narrows bridge and took a swig. It was so good, I almost chugged half the bottle right there.
YUM!!! I recommend it. Not because it'll make you go 30mph all day long, but because it's just yummy.

As an engineer I made a pilgrimage to the New Tacoma narrows Bridge and walked out on it from the north end to just past the north tower. Then looked at where the wreckage of the famous Tacoma narrows bridge landed. Was a museum dedicated to the original bridge ever built? I am sure more people know about that bridge then know about Tacoma. Even tho I was there on a nice summer day I felt quite a wind. I am suprised you were not sprayed with Welchs' Limeade when you drank. If you asre OK chugging something that concentrated I am impressed. Next time you are riding in the heat consider diluting the drink 2 or even 3 to 1.
