Post Ride Snack
Just wondering what everyones favorite post ride snack is?

A bosc pear and some peanuts or almonds and some Vitamin I (Ibuprofen).

Depends on how long the ride has been.
After a short ride - something light with a big drink of water. After a very long ride - anything that's not nailed down. |
A homemade meal replacement shake with varied ingredients.For recovery from a long ride I go with something like whey protein,two eggs,oatmeal,frozen berries/bananas/cantalope,walnuts,dried coconut plus a few dried apricots/dates/figs. Basically anything calorie and nutrient dense that I can throw in a blender.

Peanut Butter, Banana and Honey Sandwich along with a fruit smoothie.

A PB&J sandwich and a tall pint of BEER!!!! :beer:

Protein shake made with Silk Chocolate soy milk, chocolate protein powder, and whatever fruit. Then whatever gigantic meal I feel like stuffing my face with :D

PB&J with milk or yogurt and water/juice. Usually I go through my used powergel wrappers and squeeze out the last drops too :)
Long or short ride it is the same food, just different quantities. |
