training diet?

Need a training diet for a 24 hour bike race. We have about 3 weeks before the race. Any ideas?

Well something of a well ballanced diet, if you are training, lean protein is a must for muscle repair, and hydrate alot, My Doc once told me if you're not urinating, you are not hydrated. OK, maybe not in those exact words....
But find what works for you, do a test run of the event. Rde at a race pace and intensity, rest for 3 hours then repeat, 2 or three times.
Don't change your diet for the race, it may have unpleasant effects during your race. Dont decide to use whole wheat pasta during the event if you use the regular stuff, or switch from skippy to health food store peanut butter. (the healthfood stuff doesnt have suggar, or so I hear... I cant say this from first hand experience)

Good luck, and have a blast!!
