If you had one training video what would it be?
Hi- ordered a Kurt Kinetic trainer and it should be here in a few days. I just started riding this year and put about 2500 miles on the bike over the summer including my first century. I am looking for a video to train with to keep myself in shape and get faster. What do you suggest? I don't have the money for a series of dvds but probably just one or two movies. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Here are a few choices. They're all of the virtual reality type of workout which is what I prefer.
I have the Maui Rollers dvd from this series which I like a lot, but it's my hunch that this Italy dvd is probably even better. This series has multiple coaching tracks which would probably be especially valuable in relieving the monotony for someone with only one or two dvds. Better music with this series than most of these types of dvds.

Or you could go for a couple of these dvds. They're cheaper and have no music or coaching commentary at all. You'd have to decide for yourself how you'd like to ride while watching these. These are actually the type of dvds I prefer to ride to with the tv set up in front of the trainer because I find them to allow me to get into the virtual reality of the ride better because of the minimal distractions.

And then there's Spinervals' Coach Troy (who can get tedious to listen to, but you can always switch off his commentary when you've had as much of it as you can take.)
These cost more, but they're quite a bit longer than the previously mentioned dvds. They're pretty difficult if you try to stick to the intensity Coach Troy is pushing, but of course, you can ride them however you please. Best bang for the buck of Spinervals are these "On the Road" dvds:

or
