Inner quad soreness/stetches

Hey gang,

When I'm biking, and only when biking, I noticed that my inner quad gets really engaged and gets sore faster than my other muscles. Is this common? Does anyone know good stretch for that area? Regular quad stretches don't seem to hit it.

Thanks!

Why stretch it? That won't keep it from getting sore. Working it more will, though. Don't know which muscle you mean. Look it up on www.exrx.net. Then you'll know the name of it, and that website can give you specific exercises for strengthening it.

Bikes: Cannondale Synapse '06, Mongoose titanium road bike '00--my commuter. Yes, Mongoose once made a decent ti road bike.

Muscle imbalance? I would suggest proper weight training and bike fit.
