ahhhh the learning curve. In retrospect, my "training" was smarter on the heavier dual sport. Then I got my road bike and the brain went "faster ! longer! harder!" and whap! plateau.

So I'm going to take two weeks off the bike and let my body reset. Mentally that sucks. But it makes sense and i'm sure I won't lose everything I've earned. But:
My goals are to do a sagbraw, a grabawwr, and a rain, not all in the same season. Then ultimately I want to bike tour.
What might be a good training schedule for these goals?
And thank you for any help.

All season, i never did any rides like theyre describing, i would do zone 2, then intervals, and zone 2 on the way home, never had super high average speeds on my workouts. However, when i ride like i always did now (despite increasing internity and duration, i never seem to get sore or feel like i did a hard workout.
I recently tried doing some decently long rides where i hammer the whole time (40-50 miles, rolling climbs) and it seems to be the only thing that makes me super sore!
What should i do?

Mostly 'cuz I'm mentally geared to hammer. Kind of.
But today I manged to stay at or below 18 for 35 miles. Kind of a record for me. Plus, lsm's hurt my tushie because I'm not pushing the pedals so hard.
Nice to come home and not be exhausted though.
