Can I cycle to a triathlon?
Hello.
I am a long time cycle commuter and am considering doing a triathlon this year.
There is a pool based sprint triathlon which is only about 10 miles away.
Has anyone cycled to one before?
Can I leave my stuff in transition?

Yes, and yes.
If it's a pool swim you don't have a wet suit, that reduces your load. I wear a triathlon suit, which further reduces the gear you have to carry.
Wear a back pack for your running shoes and other bits, which you can leave in transition, either right at your bike, or if they don't allow that, you can leave extra bags at the perimeter of transition.

why not? If you can fit your stuff into a back pack you are good to go.
I did this too but you should not go full speed or anything like these, so you not really waist energy. If the 10 miles is full with demanding hills don't do it.
if it is your first tri than you will learn what will fits your body the best.
