I did my first brick today!!
I rode on the trainer (because it was raining) for 45 minutes and then ran 2 miles outside. man was that weird. at first i felt really light and quick, then after about 2 minutes i didnt feel so quick. I normally run 9:30 miles for distance and today each mile was 10:30 and then 11:30!! does this get easier. I am getting ready for my first tri in a month. how often should I do a brick? once a week, twice a week?
thanks

Because you're just starting, I would recommend doing no more than 1 brick workout per week. Bricks are very good race-simulation training, but if overdone, can lead to injury.
Does it get easier? Yes and no. You will find yourself getting used to the feeling, but as your body gets accustomed to the feeling, you will increase your speed and intensity.
Good luck on your first race!

Ya, the more you do it the better(over time) Dont over do it now, you are too close to the race to do alot. I would say 1-2 times a week.
