Anyone have any experience with a bike mirror for their tri bike. I would like to own a mirror for saftey reasons, but at the same time don't want to interfer too much with the aerodynamics.

Helmet mirrors work well. If you can mount a mirror to your base bar, then go for it! Just take it off during the race, else people will think you left it on solely to spot the drafting police coming up behind you

Yeah, lose it on race day, because mirror-wearing cheaters are becoming quite infamous lately. Assuming you listen to that and wear it only in training, I don't think the aerodynamics matter much. It's training, after all.
