Triathlon on a tandem bike
My daughter wants to run with me the San Sebastian (Spain) tri, its an Olympic sized event as I have found out, I am not a triathlete, nor is my daughter. However I am an avid cyclist, she is good swimmer, we can both run a bit. The point for us is to participate together, and as we also tandem, I wondered if we could register as a tandem team.
I see that some tri events specifically rule out tandems, others only provide for tandems when stoker is disabled.
I am trying to find the rules for the San Sebastian tri, but they don't seem to be online.
So before I ask them, and considering they will probably say no right off the bat ("no" can be favorite word amongst us basques) I am wondering if I can have some info here about precedents of tandems in triathlons.
Thanks
