Schwalbe Tracers
Ordered a Quik-Pak trailer, comes with either 20x 1.50 or 1.75 tires, brand not specified either. In case they are not so hot, thinking I'd replace them with the Schwalbe Tracer HS 418 Bicycle Trailer Tire. Anybody here familiar with them? They've been on the market for years but for some reason don't have any reviews (I know Schwalbe will not publish bad reviews on their own site.) Hoping they'd be a good choice but if they wear as quickly as the Kendas on my other trailers did then I won't bother. So TIA for any info about them.

the tire cost is part of the low price you pay! and before you even try the trailer you are already worried the tires are not the Best?
Kenda is a price pick by the factory , worry about wear on the Next tire you buy.
Only Schwalbe tires in general ; they're all Good .. My LBS sells them for Touring bikes ..
want a long wearing tire a Suomi Nokian, Finland made Utility tire, uses a HARD Rubber mix..
I have a 20 year old set of studded Nokian tires on a bike I use when the road ices up (3 winters ago here)
Tracer HS 418 | Schwalbe North America
Or buy the schwalbe Marathon Plus model instead
you will find many more User revues of that model If you require that no risk 'you first, tell me how it went', shopping.

Well the thing is that the Schwalbe Tracer is designed precisely for trailers so SHOULD be the best bet. Yeah I could always go with their 20" Marathon GG but those things are pretty heavy and probably overkill for a trailer.
Kendas that came with my Burly wore out so quick that I wasn't prepared. Switched to Maxxis Hookworm and those have lasted so long, actually pried them off my first Nomad and mounted to my second, didn't bother with the new Kendas at all because of their high susceptibility to flats. Now that Nomad has also bit the dust and the Hookworms are still good but weigh a ton, and of course the 20" size to fit the Quik-Pac would be even heavier. So I'll wait to find out what tires come with it and if they seem below par will take a chance on the Tracers (still don't see any reviews.) At least they have some kind of Kevlar belt, so should get me home okay for a while.

Well I got a good deal on the Tracers, $22.49 apiece and free shipping because I also ordered a new Continental Touring Plus Reflex for my drive wheel. When these Tracers first came out they were retailing for a around $75, really outrageous. Dunno how much the Kendas go for, they're probably just OEM and not sold retail. Ones that came with the Quik-Pak that was delivered today look decent but have a lot of texture to the tread, completely unnecessary for a trailer and sort of a debris magnet. Will post some pics once it's all set up, gotta finish installing the new ESGE kickstand and folding rear wire mesh baskets onto my bike before it gets too dark or starts raining again.
