Surly axle with BOB triler

Has anyone adapted their BOB trailer yoke to a Surly skewer? It would be nice if I didn't have to change skewers each time I trade from the big to the small trailer.

Surly's have different hubs. Q/R, Thru Axle, Boost, Which bike do you have and why won't it work with the Bob skewer? I wouldn't think the trailer yoke is the thing to modify. I would be looking into whether or not a longer skewer might be needed (they even have a 160mm for Santana tandems) or Maybe the bike hub will need to be changed to one that can accept a Q/R skewer.

I have both skewers (and two yokes for the BOB) they fit fine. I was just thinking if I didn’t have to switch the skewers when I want to use the other trailer it’d be nicer. At least if I’m switching skewers all the time I’ll be sure to keep track of them ; )

Looking at the two systems I don't see anyway for what you want to work. My advice is to see if there is anyway at all that the Surly Hitch can use the Bob Skewer. If those axle bolts are snugged all the way down it looks like they could hold. Or maybe you can thicken the part of the Bob Skewers where the yoke arms .... no you can't do that because the Bob Yoke dropouts won't be able to hold on. Think outside the box. You can figure it out.
