Bikes: Long Haul Trucker

Thieves in this town are kids, too lazy to work and want dope, or older transient types so doped up they wouldn't know which end to hang onto.
I have caught thieves trying to steel my hardrock twice, one time the kid ran when I came out, the last was 2 kids, I walked up behind them and watched them trying to guess the combination on one of my locks, they tried to lie out of it, I very politely said" I see you within 50 feet of my bike again I will bust you up bad".

Like somebody said, eyes are the best, I will get in and out as fast as I can or get someone to watch such as security or if I ride with other folk we take turns baby sitting.
But there is places just wont get my business because I don't feel safe there.

Another one gets me, my bank, has a sign, "No Bikes or Peds at the drive through" but they got no bike racks,
I am ready to find a different bank.

One time on a quick trip to the grocery store I forgot my lock and the security guy stood by it and watched it for me. He was nice.
