A beer shooter? Hmmm........
Gotta have my rear brake, this is a lot of weight to bring to a stop rolling down a steep hill.
Adding a Sturmey Archer XL-FD to the front wheel this winter to help out in the stopping department.

There is a SA 5 speed hub that is 110, used for Bromptons. I am sure there are other options too. Peopel put all sort of hubs on the Brompton, that one is 110 from the factory. By slimming the hub and some small adjustments to the rear spacing (steel frame) it can be done. Also you can use a Schlumpf crank gear but that is said to be expensive.

Let's see a pic with the dogs riding in the basket. I had a milk crate I fastened to my bars years ago but found that steering side to side was very uncomfortable for my pooch, he felt he was going to get flung out, as wll as made my steering very heavy. How does yours fair?

Maybe, but I think it would entail a bit of engineering. It would also put a lot of stress on the trailer-to-bike connector which is not designed for it. Probably would result in the connector failing at some point so I don't think I will be the first one to try it.

The dogs do great in the basket. I even made "set belts" from thin stainless steel, coated cable, so it is impossible for them to fall out of the basket. They get very excited when they see me roll the bike up to the front door and they know they are going for a ride.
