Based on the forecast I can take them off in April. That's with only one degree to spare. I don't mind riding on them that much. But after riding down a street that looked like a sheet of glass, I feel silly using them when all I see is clean pavement. But then, I think I bought them for what I don't see (black ice) and at age 52 I'm too young for a broken hip.

‘Tain’t Memorial Day yet. I may not ride the bike with studs every day but the bike with the keeps ‘em until nearly then. In the last 10 years, the latest snowfall in Denver was May 14th. The latest snow in Denver every was June 12, 1947.
Denver’s dirty little secret is that it snows here...and it can snow a whole lot in one storm...it seldom lasts for more than a few days. Days of 70°F followed by days of -20°F aren’t unheard of. It’s called “the warm before the storm” around here.
