I never said Gore made eVent. What I meant was I have both Gore and eVent jackets as well as windstopper.
I see you know all the details of materials but I prefer real world tests to a controlled scientific tests. People are always saying one material is the best and the other is the worst but I like both for different reasons. eVent takes less care but it is NOT as waterproof as Gore.

First he says he's ridden in all conditions with "gore eVent". When someone points out that Gore doesn't make eVent, he says that he meant that he has both Gore and eVent. Ok, fair enough, but then he says that eVent is not as waterproof as Gore (something many many people on this board would disagree with), and then says that eVent takes less care than Gore...when it's the opposite, eVent takes *more* care than Gore (as explained by someone earlier in this very thread).
Clearly, he's pretty confused about what exactly he's talking about.
