I always love how trees look after an ice fog (probably a daily occurrence along that river). Cool pic, and that's a very pretty bike, too.
BFers constantly make me self-concious about my fugly bike. Until I get on and ride, then I don't care how it looks as long as it gets me where I'm going. But once it's parked again, I wish that it was pretty like yours.

Excellent looking commuter bike. Definitely falls in the bike porn category. Great shot with the river as well, kudos. How does the IGH treat you in the winter with increased torque on the thick stuff as well as hills? I've thought about converting several times myself. Do you have enough gear range?

Very nice. I grew up in Calgary and I used to ride my bike to school along the river. I miss those pathways. No winter riding in those days, though. I guess I had to wait until I was in my 40's to be brave enough for that (studded tires help a lot, too.)

From where I sit, the saddle does not look very winterized. Myself I gave up completely on leather saddles, ultimately classifying them as more a hobby than practical products. The last drop was the saddle completely saturated with water that managed to sip in underneath, somehow circumventing the waterproof cover, when the bike needed to stay for a few days outside. It was just a constant struggle up to that point and great relief after I gave up trying. Now I wipe out the saddle with my elbow and off I go.

Missing the Disc Brake for foul weather braking on that Rohloff Hub, , Id recommend the Dynamo Drum Brake Combination for the front, progressive brake feel. grabby front braking on ice may not be desirable
and No fork replacement [ for one that is disc compatible , like Tout Terrain though Schmidt Disc is a great black anodized mix for the front.]
