yo minneapolis folks, how about that winter today? i dont know about everyone else, but my good bike had a most glorious return to the streets of downtown today. insane how sweet it is to ride compared to plowing through snow and muck on my ghetto rider.

How is it out there today? I need to decide if I'm gonna buck up & ride to pool tonight or just bike to the train & ride that downtown...

Roads are in good shape, the wind is coming from the NW so it's up to you.

The NW wind was the brutal part. I rode to downtown from the Nokomis area, along Hiawatha. So into the wind the whole time. Felt good to ride, but that wind kicked my hiney.

The wind was out of the NE on the way to work, so it was sort of a push-me-pull-u affair. It was a blast though. The nice part of commuting today was the ride home the wind will be at my back.
I did make one mistake, I took the Nokians off for the nice weather, and debated putting them back on for the commute. Sure enough, hit some ice on the Greenway, was ready for it to slide out from under me. It did, I didn't crash.
Any day I can ride is a great day, and the endorphines were kicking my butt today. I love that buzz, this stuff is so kickin' sick. IT'S TOTALLY ILLIN'
