Needed the studded tires again this morning. Three nights in a row of measurable snow fall, with refreeze, and the MUPs around here will send you sliding without studded tires. By afternoon everything out of the shady areas is in good shape for the most part. But those shady parts stay wet, rutted, and ready to freeze up over night. Almost changed tires a couple of weeks back. Glad I didn't. And the forecast has snow throughout the upcoming week in the forecast.

How many others still hearing the sizzling bacon sound while riding?

Not me, here in the First State it freakishly got up to the mid '80s last week. Made for a long, muggy ride home that day.
