A couple years ago, I contacted Lou at FoxWear, telling him I wanted winter cycling pants in the warmest material he had. I don't recall the name of the material, but he had it only in dark gray. I *love* them! They are a soft-shell material, fit closely, but not too tight, and are so warm that I learned not to wear them when the temp is >50F.

I don't know how the hell that happened. |
These knee warmers are really thick and comfortable, made of wool and rabbit hair.

I wear these.
http://www.rei.com/product/852905/no...ike-pants-mens They're fairly warm. I rode in them in the low 30s this morning and my legs remained warm. Given that I'm always cold, I'd say these pants work pretty well. Just in case, I've just bought a pair of Costco "drirelease" merino-mix tights to wear underneath them. So my layers will be (1) liner shorts (or performance shorts), (2) Costco tights if necessary, and (3) Novara pants. |
+1 for the Novara pants ... love mine.
hey vol, the link to those knee warmers didn't work for me. can you show the URL? |
