Well-Not a RACE video. Those there had over 75+ USA podiums, and 15+ TdF finishes and some UCI WCs by those that attended. Some road the bike, some did not.
The Mike Nosco ride. https://mikenosco.com/
It's not a race, just a ride.

The last of the Tuesday Night Race clips that I have in the pipeline. Field sprint after a teammate does a lot of work for me. One of the harder races I finished this year, I almost cracked following my teammate around.

Another fun watch CDR.

You are the only guy that makes me think " I'd love to see this guy race when super fit." I like rooting for you in the videos.

Thanks.

To be totally honest I'd love to see me race when super fit. hahahaha! 2010 was just insane for me, I was as fit as I could be, about 40 lbs lighter than the prior spring. I'd like to be that weight again, which, at this time, is 20 lbs below my current weight. Maybe one of these years.

Awesome videos CDR. You're like this delicate bottle of nitroglycerin that teammates have to carry during the race. Sometimes its blows up early, but on a perfect day they light it up 200m to the finish, and watch the fireworks. Bravo.

Next trick is to machine that freewheel to take an 11 speed.

Keep in mind, lowering the bars is generally desired as a means to an end, that end being more aerodynamic. Lower is not always more aero, and if you have a power meter and some time, aero testing is pretty easy and inexpensive.

FWIW, Positioned for pink: The evolution of Hesjedal's TT position - VeloNews.com
In 2010, Hesjedal used a very wide arm stance, with his elbows situated almost directly in front of his knees and his head and neck hunched down in between them. The position was low, but not particularly narrow. Ketchell saw room for improvement.
In 2011, Hesjedal’s arm rests were raised and narrowed, bringing his elbows and hands closer together while also raising his arms a bit. Narrowing his frame decreased drag, even with the higher overall position. “Last year’s position was probably a mid-point between 2010 and now,” Ketchell explained. “We’ve just gradually gone to a more aero but also more relaxed position.”

Thanks for the article. We are using power for this - but are not done yet and this time of year wind varies a whole bunch. Other than the indoor track where they won't allow the bike, we are playing with such minute changes that its really difficult. I'm also trying to use power to determine best handlebar width on the road bike as he is required to TT without aero bar in some significant events.

Good video. Puppy Doge has a nice TT rhythm and maintains a really good cadence as opposed to many who just can't get on top of their gear. Good job to the boy.

Thank you for the nice comments. The 1st part of this course (full climb) was used in the 2008 USA National ITT when Puppy Doge was age 10 (I have video). It closely parallels the SoCal Orange Country Como Street ride.

Once a year at least the last 30 years the Orange County California Como Street Ride has a race called Rogers Cup. About 200 roll out together for 45 min, then they stop and pay tribute to those fallen riders. It then become a race for about 100 riders - with potential red lights to stop at. The winner keeps the Cup and gets their name on it. Puppy Doge won today. The two lead-out riders are Puppy Doge's teammates.
