3:30 zone 2ish to Disneyland. Stuck in line @ Space Mountain atm. Think I'm already at ten hours for this week. Some structure earlier this week but none in the next few days.

Finally had a Wednesday morning off work so went out for part of the group ride. Lots of people made it (over 20) and wohlberg brought a bowl of deliciously calorie-dense homemade eggnog to kick it of. Good times, but missed the dirt trail section cuz I had to be back by 12:30 to fly out to AZ. 4 hours, 200 TSS. Lots of zone 1 but a good bit of high tempo/low threshold as well.

My old stomping grounds; I'm too afraid to ride there since my hair is no longer regulation.

Today was easy day, but I am forgetful and my teammate is even more forgetful so there's a moment every 5 minutes or so when I look down and see z4 power. Stop that ****.

I'm just waiting for someone to chime in and say it doesn't get cold in Phoenix. We're about to have a week of freezing lows.

I literally typed Mikey instead of someone, but decided not to act like a dick and instigate today. Looks like I should have trusted my instinct.

And just out of curiosity, if freezing isn't cold, then what is?

Then why'd you post about it? Oh, because you follow most of my posts with something contrary to that I said because you've thought the same thing was funny for years. Got it. You're that predictable.

The good news is I smashed the KOM on this climb by 40 seconds (edit - more like 20) doing my 20min power test Strava Segment | Minnewaska Climb - Full

The bad news is I don't have GPS on my head unit so I can't claim my throne.

Decent day, even if my legs felt like ass.

3 hour endurance ride from Carlsbad to La Jolla Cove and back along Pacific Coast Highway. It was a beautiful Christmas day in SoCal. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.

85 minutes yesterday before eating/drinking too much.

Was going to do another set of 15 minute intervals but wasn't feeling up to it when I got on, so I did 10x1 low cadence again. The last few sucked, but my legs felt better once I was done with them. The last 25 minutes was at 185 watts, which I am very happy with.

Trainer Profile | Low Cadence Christmas | Times and Records | Strava

Riding the trainer in the garage where the food is being set up is pretty much torture.

Due to unseasonably warm temperatures, I have a group ride on the agenda for this afternoon (fenders mandatory). It is going to be great to ride on roads, and also to start re-introducing a bit of intensity. Post-vasectomy recovery has been unproblematic, looks like my training plan is on track for my first road race on Good Friday.
