Create your own Pothole Garden!

Or you could see if you could catch...

a marlin...

or whatever this was...

You could open a dog wash...

or a nice water feature...

Gotta say I haven't seen (or thought about) the old Rambler Marlin in an awful long time. But it's neat to be reminded; they were kinda cool.

I've always thought that potholes could be a good way to get those cars to just slow down a bit. But it doesn't seem to work; they just bounce on over them as if they weren't there, oblivious to the damage they're doing to their own property.

Another example, it seems, of how our cars and our roads are turning people into something like zombies.

I live on the corner of a dead-end unpaved street. When the potholes got to the point that anyone who attempted to travel over 10 mph would break their car, the car-addicts did finally slow down. Unfortunately, they couldn't stand to travel the five-house length of this street at such a reasonable speed, so they paid a private contractor to come in and smooth it out for them. The way they drive, it will take two or three years for the potholes to return.
