So you'd recommend the self-adjusting pliers you're holding at 0:17? I've never tried those.

knipex pliers wrench?? yes love them!!. i would call them more of a adjustable high leverage parallel smooth jaw plier. the sliding jaw is on a track and the handle only moves the jaw a few milimeters. i have the 7, 10 inch set. use the 7in one for gripping seized spokes, yea i know dangerous. the high leverage ratio is good for squeezing stuff. use them on front derailer cages that have been blown open over time. top caps on suspension forks. headset lock nuts. aero spoke holder
