Ballpark value: '85 (?) Nishiki Continental frame/fork
Someone in another nearby city has a Nishiki Continental frame and fork (plus some other various parts, but not a whole bike and it is not assembled) that I am considering.
Based on photos, the condition looks decent. Paint is pretty good. Seller says it is rust-proofed inside.
What do you think is a ballpark value for a frameset of this type? I am not looking to low-ball in order to flip... just to find a fair price, as I will build this out myself for future use. I've enjoyed repairing my lower-end Miyata touring bike this summer, and this would be a slightly nicer long-term project.
I'm new to buying bikes that aren't ready to ride, so input on how to approach coming up with an offer is much appreciated. It's far enough away that I can't justify a trip to go check it out without seeing if we're in the same neighbourhood, price-wise, first.

With the extra bits and pieces I would say $175 is about it value wise. This is a real nice sports touring frame set with canti's but $150-200 is pretty much the high end for a mid level Japanese frame set from the 80's.

Questions re your bike
Hi Onshi, I'm in Waterloo and have recently purchased a similar bike complete , considering rebuild or resale. Yours looked VERY clean in photos. How did you make out and would you mind sharing your VIn. I have CF0518, sold by Brauns in Kitchener.
