Fuji America
Looking at selling my 1986 Fuji America Touring Series V. Average condition with original wheels and derailuers. What should I look to get out of it? Two small dents in top tube, few scratches, etc. Toured on it quit a bit back in the day. No saddle.
I love this bike, but have to make room for another one! Sorry no pics.

A Fuji America is decent but I have to agree it won't get much interest without a saddle. A takeoff from the bike shop is better than nothing.
Also if the bike has been well used I am not so sure original wheels are such a good thing. IS the chain original? if so the new owner may be looking at a hefty repair for new chain, cassette and even rings.

A little late to the game. Depending on year and components Fuji America's can fetch $75 or less for not in nice condition up to $350+ for very good condition with original saddle. Lots of people sell the original saddle separately as some came with a Fujita Professional which is a very nice saddle.
I purchased this one; which did not have the original saddle as it does now, in the $200 to $300 range if I remember correctly. This was a local cash buy. I love the America and to me it rides much better than an S-12s.

Is this the one with canti brakes? I have a Touring Series III, I think the V was top of the line.
See this is why we need pictures... We really can't help you without them. And you'll need them to sell anyway.
