70's Peugeot?

Hi all! My friend and I found this bike on craigslist. Seller offered it up for $50. How did we do? Any way to determine year/model? I wasn't able to find anything stamped to the BB.

I'm thinking 1978 UO-10. IMO, I think you did quite well paying 50 bucks for this bike.

If rims are steel, model is UO9. Alloy, UO10. The Stronglight TS crank on this bike takes a stronglight specific crank remover.
50 is a very good price either way.

Did fine, You need to install the rear QR properly though, lever belongs on the non-drive side.

1960's era factory brochures from ideor show their machines with the rear qr lever on the drive side. so, while rare it is not unheard of.

Thank you all for the feedback. We plan on giving the bike a little love so Annie can enjoy it for years to come!

Very nice buy. Cosmetics look good. Has the better derailleurs and levers. Stem might be a tad high, check how much stem is in the steerer tube. Also remove the seatpost and grease it up to avoid future problems.
