1989 Bianchi Giro SLX

So, what this bike worth. 1989 Bianchi Giro SLX. It's been converted to 10 speed with tiagra shifters and front and rear derailers. It has shimano 105 breaks and cranks. It was a frame up build.

I can't believe no one chimed in on this yet. I think as it sits maybe $350ish, because of the perceived low level of the shifters and derailleurs. To me the whole commuter setup, light/wires/fenders, make it look junky and unkempt so would keep value down. How is the paint on the frame? It could be the pics but it looks pretty dull, would it shine up with a little elbow grease and turtle wax?

I think your best bet may be parting it out.

I'm with BG...$300-350.

Frame and fork is worth $225-250.

Very nice frame and fork with parts that drag it down.

Agree with above opinions. I bought one of these which had a bunch of original worn out parts just for the frame and put 9 speed Dura Ace on it. Fantastic ride. I think I paid $225 on CL and it was black with Celeste accents. Part out for maximum $$. After cleaning.
