You might get a little better answer to this one in the track racing section, but its just an alloy frame pista , a Reparto Corse (Bianchi "race shop") model is a step above the chromoly frame Pistas that are sold as complete bikes for around $700 -- that frame alone was likely in the 7-800-$ price range and should have a general purpose Omnium style geometry

-- age could be as much as 13 or 14 years old, or could be close to a current setup --

Fork is threadless, but then again, that fork does not look like it belongs to that frame --- bars are also incorrect for an endure style track bike, but those were likely added by someone wanting to ride it around town as a "fixie" or something

Historically , Bianchi's were made in Italy, but I would bet a buck or 2 that one was welded up in Taiwan

Nice bike , but its a modern track racer, not really a classic (yet) and definitely not vintage

My mistake about the section. The fork is a carbon fork added by me. The otiginal one was a cromo? Fork. And yes it is a Fixie bike. Tks for the info.

Nice looking Pista. Does it actually say Reparto Corse on it? Bianchi bikes are slightly different and of course marketed differently various countries and larger market areas. Here in the US there usually wasn't a Reparto Corse but more often there was a Pista and a Super Pista. In the later '90s some marketing idiot at either Bianchi or Bianchi Italy (the main Bianchi 'plant') decided to use the Reparto Corse label and a tool to seel almost anything rather than a special boutique level of bike. Lots of midlevel Bianchis came out with Reparto Corse labels and parts so it get tricky to tell. I do see (US market) a Reparto Corse Pista listed in '99. In 2001 there is a Pista listed in the Reparto Corse section.

I think this qualifies more as a Super Pista and is a great looking bike. I think it might date from the late '90s to the early 2000s. How is that downtube shaped? Is it ovalized? or do I see a sharp edge down the length like on the late '90s Ti Megatube bikes?

I am missing the 2000, '02, '03 and '04 US catalogs but these graphics seem to fall in that time frame.

Hi, thanks for the info: it says Reparto Corse on it and it has some numbers and letters in the seat tube (SWQ7K) ... like if it was a series number or something like that.

The downtube has a shape, but also has an ovalized form. Look at that pic ... the seatube has a decal? that says Mega Pro Concept on it
