Raleigh Scorpion: rough age
Not sure if this belongs in this forum, but that's the point
Before I fixed up my current orange Pete's Special, I used to ride my dad's old bike to university. The great library of the internet doesn't seem to know how old it's likely to be, only that there were several variants made. Mine is a 10 speed, with old-style side-pull brakes and top-mounted thumb shifters. I know my dad bought it second-hand sometime in the late '90s. Anyone have any rough idea when the bike was built?

Try the website bikepedia. They go back to 1993 I think. They may even have a picture and a list of the components.
