Thanks for the clarification Kurt. The access to Italian made Benottos is a bit sparse, so I have not seen first hand too many. As mentioned previously, " I would like to see a Mexican made 3000 dropout" to see if the De Rosa technique was adopted by the Mexican frame builders. I doubt it, but if anyone has a Mexican 3000, please post pictures of the rear drop outs.

only some of the italy made benotto were painted on nickel beige... i own one of this .....
