Wow. I'd like to see a closeup of the weldery where the toptube transitions into seat stays. Except they're not seatstays...

^OH my. A Freddie nightmare bike. At first, thought it was a homebuilt unicycle but then clicked on the link.

Halloween is just around the corner, someone please copy, paste and post it.

I know a shop that has a NOS one of these in red. Been there for decades. Missing the front tire only. 24 x 1 3/8.

That fork would go well with your Hetchins Restoration.

How can that bike possibly still have both derailleurs?

Aren't clashing colors all the rage with fixies?

Just think, another 5000 miles, and you can change the tires

Overall, the price doesn't look bad.

Yeah it is a decent price. Just needs new tires and bar tape. He probably could not find a matching green single speed chain for the bike, so he left the derailleurs on.

So close to spelling the brand right. Also, why use one measly period to end a sentence when you can use three? Seems like a lot of money for a Hardrock that's missing the RD and possibly the replaceable RD hanger.

[h=2]" SPEACLIZED" Hard Rock Sport Disk - $400 (Albert Lea, MN)[/h]" SPEACLIZED" Hard Rock Sport Disk

almost new hard rock sport disc mountain bike in great condition....very cool color... I haven't seen any other bike this color...not even sure the name of it... dark Red orange color that will fit with any rider boy or girl....I'm asking 400$ but I'm up for trades of any kind just ask....The rear gear shifter needs to be installed still...i have it but don't know how to mount it.....willing to knock off a few bucks if I don't have too....text me any time night or day to ask questions. ..

Has anyone ever thought how great it would be to have a TP dispenser with Campy dropouts? If so, your prayers have been answered:

If I had unlimited money and a man cave that would be mine. Unfortunately (or maybe not so unfortunately according to my wife's superior sense of taste), neither of those things are true, so someone else will have to purchase it.

Depends. I prefer it hanging off the front as well, but apparently if you have cats you have to do it that way or they'll learn to unroll it by pawing at it.

It's a lovely fixture though. Good use of a wrecked classic frame (I hope he didn't waste a good one), although probably a waste of a nice vintage skewer and hub. I like how the right side still has the RD cable stop on it, maybe that could hold a single Qtip, or a small rod to hold a washcloth or something. Or, housed cable that you can pull that connects to the flush handle!

Ellipses can denote deleted material, and much of this is not in complete sentences anyway. Seems like a dreamy, stream of conciousness approach to an ad. Wow, man.

Smelly....

I think the tip off was the Matrix tubing sticker, which doesn't jive with the age of the rest of the parts. Then taking a closer look, and I'm not a Legnano expert by any means, it is a Taiwanese derailleur, cheaper crank. The headbadge sticker looks mint, the Matrix one has a lot of age. The wheels look old enough. The lugs aren't fancy. The paint is the right colour but a little too good.LEGNANO (vélo italien) | road | Gatineau | Kijiji

I believe AMF made them, there are other threads here if you search.

There are Evel Knievil collectors, but that bike is too far gone me thinks. I think the front wheel may be ok, the fender is distracting.

Now that is cute!!!

The short clearance may be an illusion with the fender. I don't see any signs of front-end damage, although one would certainly want to look at it closely.

Maybe a Murray. The double triangle in the rear reminds me a bit of the GT bikes though. (Oops, AMF, see above. Still very low end).

I just don't think of Evel Knievel as the 10-speed type of person. That must have hit just before the BMX and MTB craze.

That kind of thing is hard to valuate. it is in ROUGH shape. And a very cheap bike to begin with. And, there would always be compromises between originality and the quality of restoration, although usually things like rims can be replaced with similar era equipment.

Plus, how many kids have heard of Evel Knievel's Grand Canyon jump attempt? The market may be almost entirely in the 40-60 crowd... Hold onto the bike for another 30 or 40 years, and his fame will have fallen into obscurity.

If it were minty it may be worth the $300 asking price to an Evel Knievel collector. In that condition, maybe $30.
