I had Cheese Puffys once. The doctor gave me some kind of ointment, and it cleared right up.

Awesome GT road bike!! Until you look closely at the picture of the headbadge...

How could they be any good if they're not orange colored?
Because cheddar comes in both white and yellow?

Quite possible it came from the Taylor velodrome. Last time I was there they had a bunch of craptacular conversions for sale in their shop. I'd wager someone got really, really confused. Clearly not a Serotta Murray.

Maybe it was used at the 1984 Olympics, by the Hot Dog vendor!

Geez, hope the C/L seller is not a Cornell Engineering student.

Its like the guy who bought a new Yugo in 87 and kept it in perfect condition expecting to sell it now for twice what they paid for it when new just because they never used it and kept the paint pretty.

When I saw that picture, I just got sad. There is nothing redeeming about that bike whatsoever except its shiny.

I disagree, that "seat loin" has tremendous redeeming value!

Evidently, "upgrade" means "bolt on crappy mountain bike stuff"

https://orangecounty.craigslist.org/bik/3676277993.html

[h=2]LOTUS (HEAVILY UPGRADED) 8speed ROAD BIKE - $399 (Orange County)[/h]

I have rare LOTUS road bike with lots of custom upgrades for sale. Its a Japanese frame and is about 58cm. I have converted it to an 8-speed with no front derailleur or front shifter. Its lighter and simpler like a fixie, but much more practical and useful than a fixed gear (handles hills quite well!). The frame is CR/MO, Lugged joints, and Tange Triple Butted tubes. Very strong and rides solid (good pop!). Everything has been professionally tuned and installed by my local bike shop pro, so everything rides true! The parts alone are worth more than what I'm selling it for, so please no lowballs. I'm selling cause I am moving and don't want to deal with the hassel of moving it, but I still can move it if I have to, so I'm fairly firm on the price. Asking price is $399 obo. Also willing to trade for good older mountain bike with good components, home brewing equipment, or surfboards.

Stange thing is the bike looks to be a vintage 600 or 700 series Trek if assembled and sold right it would be worth more than the asking price.

Yeah, and what's up with the angle of that rear derailleur? Looks weird to me...

Wow, a set of Shamals for only $280?

https://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/1271484/

The previous owner pinched the wheels in a roof rack. The rear shows only slightly. In the pictures the pinched areas look worse than they really are.
