Well heck, daf1009. I thought my Schwinn ad was pretty epic until I came over here and saw yours.
Oh well. I'll post it anyway, but only because yours isn't an uber-rare upright handlebars version:

[h=2]RARE CLASSIC! VINTAGE COMPLETE 1960's Schwinn 10 speed Varsity Cruiser - $395 (SE/Lents)[/h]

Very Fine CLASSIC! VINTAGE COMPLETE 1960's Schwinn Varsity Cruiser 10-Speed Mountain Bike - Cruiser. Rare model with upright handlebars I was going to do a full restore and sell this very scarce Schwinn on eBay, but I don't have the time;-( Fine condition, but needs tweaking, hence the low price. Seat and handle bar grips have been upgraded since picture.

I have a 1977 26 in. Sierra Schwinn bicycle that has been stored since 1978. It's like brand new. Very rare. It has the chrome forks, the original toe clips, back brakes, front lights, water bottle, odometer ,bicycle bag and lock&chain(forgot the combination{smile**). The bicycle has 77 miles. I bought it brand new in 1977 and have stored it since 1977. Selling it for $1800 or best offer.

No words can describe this...
I only have one question, when did he buy it? what year? too many 77s...wait. Contradictor!! Stored it since 1977 and just a few lines above, 'stored since 1978"!! Deals off...dishonesty is surely at work with that weaving of words!

I think the Mountain bike Cruiser Varsity is wackier than the $1,800 Schwinn, but that's just one person's opinion.

Yellow Raleigh Sprite, original equipment including matching fenders. Seat tube height is 21.5" -- it fits an average-sized man. Rear-view mirror and bell. Mint condition. Made in Holland.

Backwards fork of the day. Needs a nut.

[h=2]fixie bike for sale excellent condition just needs a bolt - $100 (fullerton)[/h]

Fixie bikie in excellent condition just needs a bolt that connects handle bars to frame. Probably even just a nut. Good tires. Nice bike. Call me at 7148820619.

"I have a bianchi brava that I'm looking to get rid of. 58cm frame. It's a great bike but I've outgrown it and need the extra cash. Brand new "Look" pedals and I'll include the clips. Price can be negotiated with or without pedals. I will consider any reasonable offers. I've worked as a bike mechanic so it has been properly maintained and treated kindly throughout its life. No crashes. Tires are in good shape too"

Does it annoy anyone else when the seller makes claims such as "I'm a practicing bicycle mechanic" yet their adds speak the contrary? You couldn't make this look any more appealing with your mechanical background?

"I've worked as a bike mechanic."

I've been to the LBS and seen their wrenches at work as well as talked to them.

Yeah, do you want fries with that?

$200.oo cash or trade for a 22 hand gun.

It's not even worth trading in a Jennings J-22 or a Rohm SNS for.

And for two benjamins, at least it ought to work.

I am skeptical about any ad I see that says project almost completed. I see that type of advertisement with cars sometimes as well. It's more like people try to build or rebuild something and they have no idea what they are doing, severely screw things up and then try to get their money back.

Like this one for example: Why the heck doesn't the nut selling this bike just go to the hardware store or local bike shop and just buy the nut and bolt, also why doesn't he just look at a picture of any bike on the internet and see which way the fork goes on? I guess there are some people who have no business ever going near a wrench

[h=2]Schwinn SUPER OLD RAD BAR CRAWL COMMUTER - $100 (auburn)[/h]

Schwinn HIGHPLAINS. MEDIUM. NOT TOO BIG AND NOT TOO SMALL.

From getting high in the plains, to getting high on planes, this bike will GET YOU THERE.

You won't get there in style, but you always won't get your bike jacked.

PUB CRAWLS.

COMMUTING TO COMMUNITY COLLEGE.

THE BOTTLE CAGE CAN HOLD BEER.

Throw tailwhips and mad STEEZY power wheelies ALL GOD DAMN DAY.

This bike made Greg Minnaar look like a ***** at the 89 World Cup (in his defense, he was 8yrs old).

If you're looking for a commuter / bar hop bike that won't get stolen like your buddies CARBON STEED when you're in class or at work, this bike is for you.

It's cheap, but it works great and it's a HIGH PLAINS. Cushy f***ing seat won't spill your 40...or your mocha, (not gunna judge)

You might get a free beer if you buy this bike.
