Probably a fake ad. There is a bunch of chatter about it over on Paceline classifieds. Hope it's real for some lucky buyer.

The Colnago and Pinarello CL ad is a fake. Someone is harassing the guy at the address mentioned in the ad. I went by to check this out - there are no nearly free vintage bikes, classic cars or inexpensive rental apartments there. The poor guy who answered the door said he's been inundated by people showing up responding to different ads all day long. Don't waste your time here - it definitely falls into the "too good to be true" category!

I know it's wrong, but I have grudging respect for the author.

"......Has shoes attached to the pedals, not sure how to get them off....."

That's just inspired.

Agreed - he apparently knows enough about bicycles to have written the ad in a manner to looked uninformed, but with enough of the kind of details that would generate a lot of response. Mis-spelling Pinarello was a nice touch also Jerk!

All Schwinn touring bikes came with a Blackburn rack that was made to size. My 85 Le Tour Luxe has a Blackburn rack without the Blackburn name on it, and my 84 Voyager has a Blackburn rack with the name on it. I compared the two side by side and they are identical in every way so I assume the no name was a Blackburn, probably Schwinns way of getting it priced a little lower. However those Blackburn racks are not real heavy duty racks, I would never go across country fully loaded with one of those because I have heard of stories of those and others like it breaking on touring trips, so instead I got a Tubus Cosmo made of stainless steel instead of aluminum for trouble free carrying.

This looks like a good deal. The Quattro group wasn't the best but a Columbus Celeste Bianchi for $75? hard to beat.

Bianchi 59cm (23in) Road Bike

I can't quite put my finger on this but it might be a '87 Limited frame, but if you can get the seller down to $300ish it might be a good deal.

Any Suntour ALpha 5000 fans? Here is an 'unused' '87 Sport SX. I think under $300 may be a better deal. Vintage 80's Bianchi Road Bike - Never Used

Found this ad on CL. E mailed the seller several times but, no response. I think it's a scam. Most people would ask for over $100 for a frame like this. Club Fuji Chrome molly Frame

It's cheap because it's up in the hills. Not much of a market for bikes out there. Would probably sell in a heartbeat, even with high shipping, like $150. Gonna sit a while with Local Pickup Only. Someone will probably drive down from Hagerstown eventually..
