If the Bianchi owner wanted to run an auction he should have put it on E-Bay, not Craigslist. It would be foolish to bid against yourself.

and those paint chips as well...the 3 big ones are the deal-breaker as far as I am concerned, but at about $2K less, that would be a gorgeous bike

Hello I just tried to email him. I am somewhat interested in this but I am will not settle for any games like the last 'garage queen' I purhcased. I may take you up on that inspection offer, I will even spring for a bag of curds to munch on while driving *giggle* that bike could have sold for more than 400 -450 new and I see little reason why is should sell for anything much over about 350. mangalloy DB tubes, cut out luggs, magalloy fork, 27" wheels too!!

See the quote of the email I got from the West Bend dude, sounds more like he's just fishing for a price and isn't too motivated to sell it. I will be in West Bend around lunchtime tomorrow/Friday however, but I suspect the angler/poster is more into fishing than selling based upon his reply to me the other day.
