Is it a Schwinn Suburban or Varsity

I'm trying to figure out what my Schwinn is. I looked at scanned catalogs online for '70-'79, I can't remember what year the serial referred to. It looks like a Suburban with cruiser handlebars and top tube shift levers, but I could have sworn the frame said Varsity. I bought it 2 years ago at Goodwill, so I'm not the original owner, but does this seem like it could have been common to swap frames back then?

It's probably the chestnut color the catalog refers to and it is a 10-speed.
Any ideas? I'm not at home but this is going to bother me all day.

Probably a '60s or early '70s Varsity Tourist 10-speed, something like this:

The varsity has forged forks, and the suburban has tubular (conventional) forks.

Great bike. But for safety's sake, check to make sure the handlebar stem isn't raised too high.
