That is the one. I had to sell my Ritchey Supercomp mtb to afford it. My plan is to go modern Campy Record black, maybe red tape and red saddle. unfortunately, I don't think I can build up the beautiful Peter Mooney I have and will probably sell to fund the parts.

Surely there is another candidate, as a PM is tricky to find used in the right size.

I've been using an Osprey Flapjack on my commute for about 4 years. It's the best commuting bag I've owned for cycling. The clips and zippers have sequentially failed, so I sent it back in this week for a free refurbishment by Osprey.
In the meantime, I ordered this Radial 26 bike commuting bag. It came yesterday. I'm excited to try it.

Old bearing were clogged with rock hard grease. I had to soak all the parts in a degreaser for a day to get them clean. Then, stupid me, I lost a few bearings.

The best internal organization, very comfortable and just enough straps to keep it useful for multi-activities.
Great for traveling as well. I had it on countless off-road rides, commuted often and dragged it along on far flung vacations and fly fishing trips.
Best $129 I've spent on a pack. Far better than the Polers and Topos our boys had to have this year for school. Imho
No need to baby this one.
Edit: It has an internal waterproof shield that's easy to pull out and has a handy rear reflector tab.

I ordered NOS Apex front fenders for one of my mountain bikes. They don't make these any more and I have a rear one. This was less than $10! It rains a lot in Oregon in the winter, so I've gotta get ready.

No pix, but I got a blinky light itch the other day.
Ordered a Blackburn Flea USB from Amazon, $29 shipped.
Ordered a GoLight USB from eBay, $27 shipped.
Ordered a Chinese USB from Amazon, $7 shipped.
The Blackburn is the smallest, brightest, easiest to charge.
Horrible, unreliable mounting, but you can pay even more for the right mounts.
The GoLight is about 50% bigger, has a decent (long) clip, a tube mount included, and charges via a cable. Almost as bright.
The Chinese model came quickly but it's about the size of a pack of cigarettes, is AAA-powered, not USB, not as bright, and is too big to mount anywhere.
Plus, the clip on the back doesn't work on bags, etc. I sawed the inside out with a hacksaw blade, and mounted it on a bag.
It completely covers the rear of a Transit bag. One thing it has, though is separate side light LED's. Never thought about that before.
Too cheap to mail back, so I'll use it. I'm afraid I'll hit a bump, it'll fly off, and a car will get damaged running over it.

^^ With all these low cost blinkn', blankn' out of China these days, I don't even bother spending for batt's. Crazy sellers on fleabay out of the far East have them here in a jiffy bag and thru customs faster then a postal letter across town... and did I mention cheap?! Cup of jo cost more! How do they do it?
Anyhow, todays delivery. Its tacky.
Foilcals. First stage and a few down. Will get a full coat of clear urethane when done. Shiny and difficult to quick photo. Too many extras- if ever it arrives will go to the BOC... lol.

Nice! A buddy of mine bought one of the "cheap" Botts in the early 70's. It was the red version of the paint job on yours. It had some campy, FR and RD, I think a cottered crank, and the rest of the group I cant remember but it was a mish-mash. The frame had no tubing designation, but was entirely chromed under the candy apple paint which faded in a few years.(typical for candy apple)
Still, it was a pretty light bike for what it was. I think around 23-24 lbs.
Yours, however is a different story.
