Year and model of my Craigslist Bianchi find?
Hi Guys!
Can you tell me what year and model this Green Celeste Bianchi is? There is a mix of components but it's a 12 speed with Campagnolo Nuovo Front and rear derailleurs, which are original. I'm guessing it's a 58cm. Not bad for $100, right?

Your bike is not named the Special Columbus. Columbus is the name of the company that supplied the steel tubing that the frame is made of.

I would guess 1985 as there are only one set of waterbottle braze ons and by 86 they added another set to the downtube. Also T-Mar is around if you have the serial no. he can pin point the year and Bianchigirl if she comes in should be able to tell you the model from the componentry
