Any info on this rim?

I just picked up this rim set from a friend at work, and I'm wondering what they might be. I am going to build them up with an extra hub set I've got - this will be my first build. The rims are 36h clinchers and are in nice shape. Any ideas what they might be or what company made them?

Thanks!

Sorry about the spelling in the title. I meant "What sort of rim . . . ."

The rims are Performance Bike shop brand, they now use the name Forte. Performance puts their name on pretty good parts so you should be okay.

i have a similar performance label on a nos set of mavic ma2 rims.

that kinda sucks not knowing the rim type, so you may need to measure the erd the old fashioned way.*

* "earn it," like h&r block used to say.

Likely produced by a 3rd party for the Performance label. It claims to be "Made in USA" so perhaps Sun or Matrix?

Is there no other label on the rim? I have a Performance-labeled WHEEL with an Araya rim. So if this is from a wheel there might be another label or decal for the rim itself.

Thanks for the help - I appreciate it. The rims have no other markings on them other than what seems to be some initials and numbers etched at the seam on the inside of the rim. They look decent, so I'll probably build them up with some old (but very smooth) Sansin hubs I have.
