Tour of Palm Springs - Who's In?

I'm praying I get into PS in time Friday to get my registration stuff done night before. Riding to start from my hotel (Days Inn) which is about 1.3 miles away from start. Will meet wherever you guys want. Our team met up by the crane with flag at start and that worked well but we were all in same TUC kits so easy to spot each other. PJ and TH have my number.

last year was my first time, the people I was with recommended avoiding the start area entirely. I checked in Friday night, we stayed at the Quality Inn on E Palm Canyon and started the ride there. We rode up Sunrise all the way to San Rafael then turned left and joined the route at N Indian Canyon.

And by the way @TrojanHorse, the city is doing everything they can to bring her back. She's not a NJ (where she is now) girl!!

a) What photos? All I see is a gray "do not enter" sign

b) New Jersey? What the heck? If they want chintzy decorations, tell them to go swipe some from Atlantic City.

The pix are of Vic looking up Marilyn's dress. I could see them at home, but not here at work.

BTW, the artist that made the statue of Marilyn is quite famous and his work is displayed worldwide. They took her to NJ as part of a display of Seward Johnson's art. I really like it and wish it would come back. Rumor has it the city of Palm Springs is negotiating her return.

I'm no expert in website design, security, restrictions, etc., but looking at your post, I see nothing wrong. I'm wondering if it has something to do with where they're hosted vs. other sites linking to the images.

@tunavic, you must have some sort of restrictions on who can see your photos, because I can't see them from any computer.

I think you did it on purpose.

Can't see them here either, on two computers. And I'm self-employed so there's no corporate IT filter.

I copied the URL and pasted it into fresh Firefox and I.E. tabs. No luck. The issue is on the host's side I think. I store my images on PhotoBucket and haven't ever had an issue.

It's also the same pose a lot of people do when they're standing in the rain!

I have two groups that I'm meeting with, each at the NW corner of the parking Spa Resort parking lot. None of us have matching jerseys, so to try to get everyone together near that start would be challenging, I think. I'm sure we'll cross paths. You have TH and my numbers.

I still haven't figured out if I'm going to just drive in tomorrow morning. I'm waffling. I'll have to get my registration crap at 6 and then I'll probably go back to the car to start looking for peoples.

PJ - are you going to go BACK to the spa resort parking lot after you register or is that meet up taking place before you register?

I'm going to drive out in the am. Leaving home by 3am, in to Palm Springs by 5:30. At least, that's the plan. I'll walk over to registration, then come back and get the bike and meet at the corner.
