need new frame, cross check vs long haul trucker

Looking for a new commuter frame, for good weather rides. I have 2 others for crappy Boston winters. I also have a dedicated touring bike. I plan to run 35-40 mm x 700 tires and fenders as well as a rack in the back. Drop bars too. I have some smooth dirt paths and roads on the commute as well. Which is my best choice ? I tend to break lots of stuff including frames.

If you have a dedicated touring bike already the LHT doesn't make a lot of sense. The CC is supposed to be a nice all around type bike.

CC or LHT, can't go wrong with either.
