Very sunny, cool 3 celcius, very mild cross wind.
Arms, shoulder and wrists very sore from a whole week end of full contact gardening.
Nice ride

Cold, but sunny.
There will probably be a headwind on the way home.

People say the strangest things. I had a co-worker come up in the lunch room today to tell me he caught me driving in the other day, "when it was cold". I thought he was joking since I've missed only 3 days this year - most recently a month ago when I overslept - but he looked serious, almost accusatory. I didn't know what to say because it seemed just ... weird.

If it's below 50F, I get "did you ride in this cold?" If it's raining, I get "did you ride in the rain?" Right now, it's "did you ride in this wind?" Pretty soon it'll be "did you ride in this heat?"

Great as it was dry and snow free. Tomorrow, riding with the 8-10" we're getting at the moment might be less dry and less non-snowy.

^^Bummer on the flats, that's no fun... Hope you made it in on time!
The weather was gorgeous here, no wind and warm. I know it's not much, but I broke 30mph for the first time unaided by wind or hills, so that made me happy

32F, no wind, to.
57F, 16mph wind on the way home.
found out my Pake Rum Runner w/ Gatorskin 28's can handle my alternate packed gravel nature trail route just fine.

There is a big new lake in my path between home and work from the heavy rains. So I drove my bike into work and rode 22 mi after work
I sure hope that lake recedes soon as I cannot take roads to work.

35F/2C and sunny this morning. Took the lakeside MUP again. I've been doing that a lot lately. The road is faster but the MUP is still mostly empty and it's much more scenic. (And no cagers to bother with!)
Yesterday I was waiting in the straight-ahead lane for a red light. There were cars to my right in the turn-only lane, and a car behind me. In my mirror I saw a bicyclist approaching from the rear in the turn-only lane. He decided red lights were for chumps, I guess, and veered across to the other side of the street and tried to run the light. Unfortunately for this idiot, oncoming traffic had just gotten a green and he got forced off almost into the grass on the wrong side of the road. I just shook my head in contempt.

We are back in the same sort of weather pattern we had all during March and early April, with stiff north winds and colder than usual temperatures. Last week, we had a brief taste of warmer weather but winter does not want to go away this year. My commute home yesterday afternoon was brutal, with a crushing headwind almost the entire way. Fortunately, the wind direction didn't change overnight, so I had a relatively fast easy commute this morning with a tailwind most of the way.

Cool 2C (35F) but dry and clear so I saw the sun on my way in. However, there was a breeze so the windchill was -1C (31F). My fingers were cold but my legs were bright red and warm (from the inside). This afternoon is forecast to be sunny and 14C (53F), nice for the ride home.

0C/32F, calm. I can still find ice patches on the trails on my commute routes, but by next week they should be gone.

Just ask them an equally dumb question sometime, like "did you drive in this wind?" and they'll probably never bother you again.
