Fenix Flashlight Help Needed

Tough to diagnose this problem online, but I know there are some lighting gurus who might be able to help.

I have a pair of Fenix L2D CE Q5 Flashlights that I use as backup headlights and all-around flashlights.

Tonight, I accidentally dropped one on the floor, from a height of 5 feet. To my dismay, it no longer works.

Since I have a pair, I figured I would at least isolate whether the failure is from the switch end or the LED end.

It turns out that the switch end is the broken part. It looks fine and "clicks" like it should, but does not work.

Any suggestions??

Replacement tailcaps are $12:

or you can try taking the bad one apart and see if you can figure out what's wrong. Maybe a cracked circuit board or the spring broke off. Sometimes, the retaining ring for the tail switch just loosens. A pair of needlenose pliers in the 2 ring holes can be used to take out the switch, if you don't have ring pliers.
