50 miles with 3 riders. Temps 60*-67* with 10-22 mph winds.

Returning, met two of my neighbors that have caught the bicycle bug from me.

Good going! That's a nice sized hill for sure!

Did 60 mins indoors at the gym, 30 mins standing on the spinner and 30 mins on the upright bikes. Nothing yesterday. It's been snowy, icy, and dangerously cold the last couple of days. Hoping to get to ride outside tomorrow.

37.3 miles in cold temps but no wind. A nice ride through the country on roads I normally do not ride on.

I did two rides today. One to my WW meeting and then another to do errands in the afternoon. I'm trying to ride whenever it is possible.

Wow, looking at how much you guys are riding is seriously inspiring.
My new years resolution is to get in better shape and ride more.
I am gonna try for 25 miles tomorrow (which is a lot for me).
I generally just commute and do short joy rides.
Thanks for the motivation!

Went back to Hadfield in Derbyshire where we havent been in many years.

Cycled to Manchester Piccadilly train station about 5 miles on a cool overcast day.

Then off the train and rode to Holy Bank Quarry while my partner walked so didnt go very fast.

Was bad and didnt ride up the sloping stony path and other hills up to the quarry but did ride the stony path back down.

After that did a circuit of Bottoms Reservoir (one of 5 in the area) on mostly stony paths.

Then train home as bad weather was on its way which actually wasnt as bad as we thought.

We have got off very lightly in our area with the repeated severe storms that have blighted everywhere else.

Cycled back home another 5 miles.

It varies, round where we were it snows loads and any bad weather would mean it as it is in the Peak District which is very hilly, moorland and very windswept.

All the houses are built strongly of stone and built to last against the weather.

The Woodhead Road is always closed when it snows as it is very narrow and hazardous and becomes absolutely impassable.

It is the main road through the area and carries horrendous amounts of traffic so you can imagine the impact closing it has on traffic through the area.

You need to be a hardy soul indeed to live there.

Absolutely a gorgeous day for my first metric century of the year. 62.56 miles with my riding buddy at a packed MUP. Too many people to get in any high speed riding so a moderately paced ride worked well. We did manage to get in three nice sprints during the ride, but they weren't as long as the ones we normally do.

53.5 miles, 3500', 14.0 mph. 40-ish at the start, comfy by noon. I faded a bit at the end, but all in all a good day for a ride.

I need a warmer climate. I try my best to ride year round... but Midwestern winter are just too cold for my old bones.

I took my new Kestrel for it's maiden voyage Sunday afternoon. 21 total miles with a 750' vertical grade over three miles. The bike was great just needs a bit of fitting adjustments.

No ride today. Attended two funerals today, one in the morning one in the afternoon, and both at the same church. Very long day.

17.16 miles, 1H 16M 03S this afternoon in the cold, 30°F with stiff NNW winds. Great to ride after missing yesterday because of high winds.

Did a spin class last night. Temp was 7F and about 15 in the day. Day before I got a 20 mi ride in when the temps freakishly climbed to 50F before returning to cold again.
